We were asked to support a Government Department, to build the energy strategy behind theirgrand vision for the country’s government, economy and society.
Our Approach
We utilised the Government Department’s Vision Realisation Office to initiative cross-ecosystem leadership alignment to establish the sector’s long-term policy objectives.
To develop out the objectives, we:
Drilled down into published objectives to develop sector specific opportunities andissues as a basis for strategy formulation
Developed leading key performance indicators (KPIs) that target opportunities andissues directly, which in turn satisfy energy sector policy objectives
Optimised the initiative portfolio of the entire country’s energy ecosystem byshortlisting initiatives that directly and positively influence leading KPIs
Utilised initiative portfolio optimisation to integrate the Nation’s energy ecosystemstrategies to maximise impact of spending
Developed an organisation structure for the Government Department, equipped withthe right human capital, to implement energy sector transformation
Key Outcomes
Established agreed energy sector policy objectives as a result of cross-ecosystem leadership coordination and alignment
Maximised efficiency of initiative spending across the energy ecosystem (by optimising the Nation's energy ecosystem initiative portfolio)
An organisational design roadmap for the Government Department that is equipped with the right structure and capabilities to deliver policy objectives
