Stephen is a Principal Consultant at Q5, specialising in Organisation Design and Analytics. With a PhD in Organic Chemistry, he brings a scientific mindset to organisational challenges and especially enjoys the art of making the complex simple. Since joining Q5 in 2021, Stephen has delivered major transformation projects across media, retail, healthcare and financial services. He has particular expertise in activity analysis and service volumetrics, helping clients such as a national broadcaster redesign support service models using robust quantitative insight.
His recent work includes developing a dynamic workforce model for a large UK retailer and leading target-setting and cost modelling for a Global luxury fashion brand. Stephen’s academic research at UNSW contributed to a biotech startup that is now in clinical trials. Outside of work, he enjoys discovering new music, playing football and supporting Leeds United.
